Manny Sluggz is a single Latino from Salinas California. I grew up a rough life. Everything from on the run from Parole, to people trying to kill me, to living on the streets, literally. My music always comes from the heart. If it aint from the heart then don't do it. Unlike some people, everything I rap about I've been through and experienced, first hand. I don't like when people rap about things they aint ever experienced or been through. I could mention a few names but I wont. I've been doing music my whole life. My music is a mix of thug with reality. My music is in no way gang-related. But if you know me personally, then you know what I'm 'bout. Nor do I prefer any group of people to listen to my music over any other. My music is for anybody who loves Hip-Hop. Whether your rag is Red or Blue. Or your skin is dark or light. Also involved in my music is my brother J-Smokes. Keepin' it in the family. But we're all musically talented. We can all, not only rap, but can also sing. No joke. Section 8 Society, starting in 2009, will be expanding it's enterprise to North Carolina under the management of Whyte Owl, who not only got street cred from beatin' ass, but also trophies. LOL. Real shit too. Mr. Whyte Owl will be currently looking for real talent in the North Carolina area. Not to mention, Section 8 Society is now in the production game. Holla'.
Influences
My biggest influence, by far, is Marijuana. However, when it comes to Hip-Hop, and I know most wont agree, but who cares, has gotta' be, yup, Eminem. But if we go back even further, to my first musical influence.....period, I gotta' give it to the one and only, Legendary Michael Jackson.

Manny Sluggz has been providing Monterey County with Hip-Hop since 1994. With new music projects on the way with a more mature flow style than before you can guarantee the Hip-Hop will not cease anytime soon.
Mr. Sluggz has worked with artists and producers locally and nationwide. Some of the Hip-Hop artists and producers consist of: Sixx Pack out of Florida, Tahmi Gotti, The Man Prefekt, DEA, Meangene, Doom the Original, Brown Bomber, Mister Sinister out of North Carolina.
Plus mad tracks comin' soon. Manny Sluggz has also worked with several R&B artists. Most recently working with Angela who was on the "Could It Be" track. And also singers out of the Pheonix area. Sluggz is also looking to collab with more R&B artists. Male and female.
Section 8 Society will soon release songs by the first S8S female R&B singer.
Manny Sluggz has inspired and worked with rappers and singers throughout his hometown of Salinas, California. Even if some don't want to give him his props. It's hard to deny the lyrical strength and musical gift of Manny Sluggz. But some still do.
