Platzblanche reflect the new millenium's Age of Chaos. It is dark, funny and a little bit angry - a more fantastic electronic sound. The music giggling, the synthetic elements are relentless and devastating. Great slabs of melodic guitar were thrown into the electronic centrifuge and spin madly through the songs. It is a strobe light set to music inducing a hyper-stimulated sense of overload in the lucky listener. Still mutating faster than the normal brain can comprehend; with their mega-musical tentacles reaching into uncharted lands of sight, sound, and sanity. Counselor Schwarz remains a nefarious nucleus able to attract the finest in contributing satellites for their ravishing reverberations, driving the happy listener to dance until sudden death. Platzblanche are oh - hoho - funny and scary.
The Berlin based franco-kraut-turkish band, formed in 2007, consisting of Andreas Schwarz - Germany ( well known in Berlin as a famous club booker - arena, bunker, kalkscheune ) - vocals, David Maars - Paris ( formerly manchmal a make up ) - bass and electronix, Lucius X. Nylon - Berlin/Istanbul ( formerly rote libanesen) - guitar. Platzblanche have also made time to play many suddenly legendary Club Gigs in Berlin's most famous underground locations like the White Trash Fast Food, Maria@Ostbhf, Bassy Club, VCF, Chantals House of Shame, Lovelite, Bang Bang Club ..to name but a few.
