Sounds Like
A Rock & Roll explosion, tearing down the hellborne highway on two wheels
In early 2002, with the war in Afganistan going poorly and the president's approval rating dropping fast, certain high-level factions within the United States intelligence began work on a top-secret program designed to turn the tide of the war. The .. to create a rock band so powerful that enemy combatants could be rendered paralyzed on the field of battle. Conceived as the ultimate weapon in the war on terror, this project was kept hidden from both the CIA and the Pentagon, housed in a clandestine laboratory in the Nevada desert. Three college students were recruited for the program. Their names - Joe Finkel, Griffin Walker, and Jaizi Abedania.
Pumped full of top-secret psychedlic drugs and hard-wired into powerful supercomputers, they underwent grueling physical and mental training round-the-clock in the underground lab. When the ultimate goal of their project was revealed to them, however, they reacted in a way that their overseers had not expected. They refused. They just wanted to rock, not fight in a war.
The government scientists had a real problem on their hands. With the powers that had been given to this band, how could they be released back into society? Who knows what kind of havoc could be created with rock music so momentous. The orders came down from the top brass that the project, as well as the band, must be terminated. But upon returning to the lab, the scientists found the place a smoking pile of rubble. The top secret-guitars and drums were gone and a giant crater had been blasted through the 3-foot-thick concrete walls. And the van was gone.
From out of the desert came a van. It pulled into a gas station and two young men and a girl debarked, covered in dust and blood. "Where did you come from?" asked the gas station attendant. "We don't know" they replied.
Pursued by governement agents where ever they go, the Playboy Millionaires rarely have a moment to stop and think. They have no idea what happened to them - the blast from their amplifiers that they used to break out of the lab left them with no memories of the experiment. All they know is that danger could lurk around every corner.
They have only just began to reallize the extent of their powers, and are determined to use them for the good of the world. At the same time, the only way for them to ever solve the mystery of their past and know the true reason that the U.S. Army wants them dead is to track down the shadowy figure who appears in their hallucinations wearing a lab coat.
Who is the scientist?
