I Had Six Dogs, Five Dachshunds (Big Teddy, Lil' Teddy, Jamie, Bobby And Princess) And One Mini-Pincher (Sammy). But, Unfortunate Family Events Changed That Forever. On (October 1, 2008) I Lost One Of My Dachshunds (Bobby) In A Truly Heartbreaking Way. After My Bobby's Death My Sister Took Her Mini-Pincher (Sammy) Back To Live With Her. I Took Care Of Him For Years Off And On, Tell She Got Her Life Organized. I Imagine The Death Of My Dog Must Have Made Her Realize That She Will Miss Out On Her Dogs Life If She Was Not In It. But, As Sad As I Was To See Him Go I Know He Belongs With Her. I Spent Much Of My Time Caring For And Protecting All Six Of My Dogs From Harm And When I Lost One Of Them I Was Absolutely Devastated. After A while I Realized I Have Four Others To Care For, And They Need Me More Then Ever. Most Of The Decision I Made And Still Make Involve Them. Like Most People That Have Animals In Their Lives, They Are My Best Friends. I Know I Have 100% Of Their Trust And I Never Take That For Granite In Any Situation...
Now A Year After Bobby's Death, On Around (9/25/09) Me And My Family Rescued A Boxer, Named Daisy And Mixed Poodle Type Named Sarah. They Were Neglected Back Yard Dogs I Used To Bring Treats To For Over A Year. One Stormy Night They Broke Their Fence And Came To Me And Sat In My Back Yard Tell I Let Them In. We Gave Them A Bath (They Had Ticks All Over Them) And They Were Really Happy. I Put Them Back In Their Yard And They Broke The Fence And Came Back! Their "Owner" Said He Doesn't Want Them Anymore So, We Adopted Them. We Got Them Vaccinations (Parvo, Rabies And Heart Worm) And Got Them Spayed. It Was An Adventure But Our Dogs Welcomed Them To Our Family And All Of Them Are Peaceful. We Were Gonna Foster Them Tell We Found Them A Loving Home, But My Family And I Are Getting Closer To Them As Time Goes On. So, I Have Six Dogs Again. Well, Seven Because I Still Have Sammy Too!
