We are all united for ONE common goal...PEACE! PEACE THERE, PEACE HERE AND PEACE OF MIND FOR THOSE WHO HAVE SERVED. All musicians playing everywhere, as often as possibe wear white t-shirts with handpainted peace signs, really big, in both blue and red paint. I happen on the weekend nearest the new moon of every month.
Since Play For Peace has begun, our PURPOSE has become very clear. We are creating live shows that bring people of all views together to do one thing, deal with reality. The reality is that ** 140,000, ** check this number for yourself, for it grows often, people are serving right now. Some of these folks have been there for up to 6 years. What happens when they return? Emotionally? Financially? They have left jobs to serve the country and come back to none. They must re-enter civilian life. We cannot imagine what the life they have been living while serving is like. But we can show support. It is not about politics. Its about doing what we can TO BRING PEOPLE PEACE.
