Playground Music Publishing is an independent publisher within Scandinavia signing and developing acts from Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Iceland. We have a joint venture agreement with Universal Music Publishing Sweden for the world. We co-publish many of our titles and other titles they simply adminstrate for us. This cooperation combines the independent hands-on approach with the major muscle nettwork.
We work with all styles of music.
Our roster includes: Ayoe Angelica (Denmark), Private Line (Finland), Leif Jordansson, House Of Tomidas, Sofie Livebrant, Ayesha and Strip Music (Sweden). We are always open for new talent.
Leif Jordansson is a film-theater-ballet score composer and we are seeking international work for him.

MUSIC/ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY PERSONS: A&R, Record Execs, Producers, Radio-TV producers, Photographers, Remixers, Press and web-related Street Teams and other new groups working with the promotion of music and artist. In turn, our goal is that you will contact us for samples and more information.
Want to intern for Playground Music Scandinavia?
We're always looking for eager interns to help us with new releases, working on our website, international mktg and solicitations of our music, web 2.0 promotions and general office duties. We also offer opportunities to attend shows and assist with showcases, depending on your talent and assertiveness.
Interns work a minimum of four days a week for a minimum period of 2 months (it can be more) and should have a strong interest in music and the internet. Potential candidates should also have a strong knowledge of MS Office, HTML, PHP, web 2.0-social networking, InDesign and Photoshop. They should have also great organizational and administrative skills and can deal with many projects at the same time.
Interns for Sweden promo division, shall have a great command of the Swedish language and preferable a journalist background. Other Scandinavia languages are a plus for the position..
Internas for the international division it is a requirement to have a great command of the English Language and knowing Swedish is a BIG plus and of course but other language skills are welcome as we do business worldwide.
This is an unpaid internship but an unbelievable opportunity to get hands-on experience within the record company and music publishing enivorment as well as building contacts in the music industry.

We continue this commitment with our next event, Pastry Tasting for Charity, on November 22, 2009. This event supports the Food Bank For New York City we will raise together 10,000 for 1.3 million New Yorkers in the tri-state New York area that use food pantries such as this. Admission: $25 and a non perishable food item.
