Playing in Traffic (PIT) had humble beginnings in the Spring of 2005 as a weekly class at the Professional Actor’s Studio. A little over a year later, we had our first show on July 23, 2006. Since then, we've been performing multiple shows at mulitple theaters in the Altanta area.
We specialize in games that showcase real acting. So there’s a good chance you’ll both laugh and cry at our shows (though the crying usually comes from excessive laughing). We feature total crowd participation in both old and new improv games...which basically means we have no idea what the crowd is going to come up with (which makes it hilarious).

We're a professional improv troupe located in Atlanta, Georgia. The troupe has been around since March of 2005, but we've been doing shows since July of 2006. Currently, we're doing multiple shows a month at the Professional Actors Studio in Buckhead. Tickets are $10 at the door (pssst, there is a 2 for 1 coupon on www.pitimprov.com). The crowd has total control of the scenes because they give the suggestions all night, and then we just run with it....and let the hilarity insue (not sure if that's spelled right) Come play with us and you will not be sorry...
