Indie-electro merchants PLAYING NERVOUS are back with a new line-up, new tracks and a scintillating live show. Performing an album bursting with infectious melodies and hypnotic hooks, and with significant airplay under their belts, the four-piece kick off their eagerly anticipated return to the live scene with a headline set at The Dublin Castle on Wednesday 16th July. The gig will be followed by two further shows at The Bull & Gate and The Carling Academy Islington. This may be the last opportunity to catch them in such intimate settings.

PLAYING NERVOUS have just finished work on a new self-titled album, a glorious fusion of electronica and classic British pop. The track Last Of The Great Romantics was recently chosen as ‘Demo of the Week’ by BBC Radio Kent and ‘Demo of the Month’ by Computer Music magazine (the UK’s biggest selling music technology publication). Furthermore, More Than Enough was named ‘Song of the Month’ on South City FM, and Beautiful Face reached number 1 on The Matchbox Radio Chart (the largest internet station in Europe) and was featured on the Independent -The Best of Matchbox compilation which was distributed by Universal. With such successes it is surely only a matter of time before the intense interest they have been generating leads to a deal with a major label.
