My music and musical choices are a confluence of all the wonderful sounds that I have been blessed to experience over the years, from the old blues and gospel players to the modern rockers, from the original folkies like Woody Guthrie, to the nuvo americana movement.

"playitforward" is primarily a solo artist these days playing for your restaurant, hotel, winery, private party, reception,etc., but always for the customer's enjoyment. He has over 30 years performance experience and covers a broad range of genres from folk to funk, blues to bluegrass. Bound to put a smile on your face and start your toes a tappin'. Set lists tailored to match the intended ambience of your venue. The name "playitforward" is inspired by the movie and concept of Pay It Forward.

"playitforward" uses only the best musical equipment, which includes the Bose L1 PA, which has incredible benefit of far and wide sound dispersion without destroying your audience with painful volume. He also uses Alvarez-Yari acoustic and Musicman electric guitars, Mid-Missouri mandolins, D-Tar Mama Bear and Line 6 premps, digitech looper for creating live guitar loops, and TC Helicon Harmony G for creating live harmonies.
