Jake Nauta and Daniel Georgiou are two young songwriters that deliver honest and powerful music to their audiences. Sydney based band Playjerise create music with strong, catchy acoustic melodies and confidently speak to the listener through their music.
In late 2006, Playjerise independently recorded and produced their debut album ‘Cross The Line’. Since then, the album has become available instores nationally . Their fan base has grown considerably solely on the reputation of their music.
ARIA Award nominated artist LIOR found something special in the bands latest release. In his personal review of ‘Cross The Line’ he says “…some really beautiful playing, and singing (which is refreshing to hear)”.
Through the Triple J Unearthed website, the bands single ‘Safe To Say’ was reviewed by Missy Higgins – who claimed it to be “A really sweet song…sung with a lot of heart”. Out of thousands of song entries, the music of Playjerise stood above the rest and remained the top review over the course of the competition.
Michael Gore – from Koorong Australia – claimed the album to be “One of the years top three independent releases” and ‘Cross The Line’ is now available in Koorong stores nationally.
The bands outstanding live show is reflective of their studio work. The interaction between the two gifted guitarists along with soaring vocal melodies combine to create a show that is hard to forget. Playjerise showcase their natural ability to deliver their trademark blend of inspirational verve and catchy acoustic melodies.

Your music is great, compleatly in love with your songs :] . Well my youth group, club reg from northmead anglican, had been playing a couple of your songs on our youth camp last holidays( mostly 'Safe To Say') and i had found your songs very inspirational, let alone the reason that they now bring back great memories from camp and my expeiriences their.
So at camp they had a book/cd store. Throughout the camp they had talked to us about they books and the cds. So i bought you cd from their, yay.
Your cd's great btw. I love listening to it, and i havent gotten sick of it...like some other bands hehe...but they try, but still you guys are awsum....awesome....i think, heh
Ahh that youtube video sounds like fun :) but im not one to sing in public hehe,but my friends saun and dan are actually going to do it. well they say that they are, so we'll see how that goes ehy....
but as for now, i shall say you guys are a great inspiration, and your music is great and touches my heart in a special place.
