ABOUT THE PLAYLIST MIX PODCAST
The Playlist Mix is a weekly podcast released through PlaylistMix.com and iTunes by Ken McGuire (Ireland). Drawing acts from Ireland, the UK, US, Canada and further afield, the Playlist Mix won Best Podcaster award at the 2008 Irish Web Awards (October 2008).
This eclectic podcast draws from a large archive of podsafe (safe for podcast) audio from around the web and, for that matter, around the world with sounds varying from indie to rock, alternative to punk, classical to tradtional.
The very first PlaylistMix.com Podcast, Show 1, aired on Sunday March 25th 2007. A break after the first few shows saw the PlaylistMix.com podcast kick in to life on October 2nd 2007, each weekly show featuring six tracks from six independant and podsafe acts from around the world. The podcast took a few weeks break in the summer of 2008 returning to air September 2008.
Your genre doesn't matter - if your music is podsafe and you want to have it heard then whether you're alternative, reggae, dance, trad, progressive anthem metal, indie or otherwise - get in touch.
Each band or act can also submit their amazon / iTunes link - your links appear within the PlaylistMix.com feed and site to help you sell your records.
The Playlist Mix Podcast is a weekly independent music podcast running in series since 2007. Each week get a new mix and meet new artists from Ireland, the UK, US, Canada and further afield. Want to get involved? Check PlaylistMix.com or read below to find out more.

I know it's late... but I wanted to thank you so much for playing us in your PlaylistMix #9. We are all HUGE fans of the Podcast and were blown away to hear our song on your show... and to hear that you had "What Happened" stuck in your head was the ultimate compliment. Cheers.
