In autumn 2006 Tobias, André T. and André E. decided to start a band. The
idea was that everybody should play an instrument that he has never played
before. So Tobias played the guitar, André T. the bass and André E. tried to
play drums.
After a few months they had some songs and Raffi joined them to sing. It
didn’t work really satisfied, so they decided to ask Timo to do the drums.
Then André E. picked the microphone and Raffi does the second guitar. They are quite
versatile, huh?
So in spring 2007 they started to practice in that constellation.
Their sound is quite simple hardcore/punk. Because that’s what they listen
to the whole day and is possible to play with their actual
skills. Somebody say that it has a bit a touch of early 80ies bands like
Negative Approach. But if you wanna make your own opinion about it buy the

ANIMAL INSTINCT Stick Like Glue 7" and T-Shirt pre-order
The ANIMAL INSTINCT debut 7" EP Stick Like Glue will hopefully be out in four weeks from today. The vinyl version will be limited to 300 copies. 200 copies will be on black vinyl, 100 on colored vinyl. 50 of the colored 7s will be sold via pre-order only and 50 will be sold at the record release party (both versions will have different stamps and will both be #d/50). The limited ANIMAL INSTINCT T-Shirt will also be sold the moment the debut 7EP is officially released.

Crucial Attack Records: State Of Mind – Mental Gold Pre-Orders!!
Originally inspired by bands like Maximum Penalty, Breakdown, Fahrenheit 451 and Leeway, State of Mind have been playing groovy NY styled hardcore since 2005. Now, four years later, the band present their second full length album entitled MENTAL GOLD, to be released by Crucial Attack Records.
It’s a new chapter in the history of a band that has previously released a demo, two 7 inches and a full length. The release marks expansion, musically as well as lyrically. Influences ranging from hip hop to classic rock can be found, while on the lyrical side they take a critical stance towards passiveness and lack of awareness in today’s society. Not very surprising for a hardcore band, you might think, but it’s turning into a rare feature these days.
Crucial Attack Records is now taking pre-orders for State Of Mind – Mental Gold LP/CD. You can order the gatefold LP on limited blue vinyl or on white vinyl. The releasedate for the record is May 16, when State Of Mind will play with True Colors and Bitter End at the Trix, Antwerpen (Belgium).
