Please Please Please is an indie rock band out of Kirksville, Missouri. Members are Dillon Lara (guitar/vox), Brad Burger (bass/vox) and Jeremy Morton (drums/vox/keyboards/percussion). The band formed in mid - 2005 in search of satisfying their musical goals and dreams.
Musical Influences range from Jimmy Eat World to Bob Dylan to At The Drive-In. Soaring atmospheric textures meet chugging bass and thunderous percussion in a wall of sound that is familiar, yet a sound all of its own. They do no push any belief on listeners, but rather strive to write songs that give a message of hope and faith.
They have gone on two self-booked/funded tours of the midwest. They self released "S/T" in 2006, "Seasons EP" in 2007, "Naipotu" in 2007, and are currently writing and recording their currently untitled third full length record - due out (hopefully) in Spring of 2008. A southwest/westcoast tour will follow in late summer of 2008.
They have shared the stage with several bands, Notably...The Appleseed Cast, Unwed Sailor, Latterman, Long Since Forgotten, The Casettes, Kiss Kiss, Caleb Engstrom, Ike Reilly Assassination, Romantica, Ha Ha Tonka (Amsterband), The Effects, Poison Control Center, Theodore, Umbros and of course...The Engaged.

hey guys- thats a lot for let us play with you tonight.Hopefully next time we will have a full band. You guys sounded great. When are you going to put out your new cd?
do you guys think we can just bump our date for that show up one day to the 16th? it would be a saturday, so that should create a bigger draw, and it will work better for our tour overall. what do ya think?
Hailing from Vancouver, B.C. Canada, The Pack A. D. is currently on their Deathstar tour. Kirksville is lucky to be a stop on this extensive tour of the states. The Pack A.D. will be bringing their "loud, edgy and unforgiving...blunt, no bullshit approach" to the first show at the Journal Printing Co. Basement-- a night of blues/rock that will not disappoint!
Tuesday, July 8th at the Journal Printing Building. Show starts at 8:00 | $4 cover.
hey guys, we're going to move the day of our cd release to probably august 30 or 29th. We'll let you know, and you're still definitely able to play that. We're still on for RRR in KV august 17, right?
Came to tell you how much we looked up to you when we were a band, one of the few local bands I really respect for being honest in their sound and message. I used to listen to "Glory Falls" every night for a time. It was crucial for me back then to know that there were honest musicians out there. Also came to tell you that I've been writing new stuff, but have no means to record without bandmates. If I can get something done, you guys will be one of the first to know. Thank you Please Please Please for past support, and good luck with your music.
in seeing that Warm Winter left you guys a comment asking you to come back to texas, i must ask of you this same thing. I saw Please Please Please and Warm Winter this summer at Emo's in Austin, Texas. I would LOVE to see you play again.
As you may already know, I've been offline for quite a while now, and I'm just now getting back on. I wanted to stop past and wish you and yours a very happy new year. Look forward to hearing from you when you're able.
