KITA or Keyed-In to Abstinence is a program of Bethany Christian Services of Northwest Iowa and Nebraska.
Our mission is to encourage you to make healthy and responsible choices by revealing the truth about premarital sexual activity and its consequences, teaching you how to resist pressures, and focusing on how abstinence until marriage will protect and enhance your future and future relationships.
Our goal is to provide learning opportunities to empower you to postpone sexual activity until marriage.
Why Abstinence?
Abstinence is the only 100% effective protection from the possible physical, emotional, mental, and social consequences of sex before marriage. Abstinence is the safest and healthiest lifestyle.
Who I'd like to meet: Here at PleaseWait-Iowa.org, we would like to meet you! And we'd like you to help us send the positive message of abstinence to other teens! Check out the videos below! They were made by teens at our video production camp. These teens put their heads together and came up with some powerful images that send a message about making positive choices.
