Influenced primarily by The Pogues, Morphine, and Tom Waits, the six members of Pleasing Melani (or PMel) combine their talents to produce a high spirited sound. The band is fronted by Carl Quandt (vocals) with brother Al Quandt (Drums, Vocals), Nate Ochoa (Guitars, Vocals), Scott Snyder (Sax), Matt Brown (Guitars, Vocals), and Pink-5 (Bass). Often labeled the “Hardest working Band in Town”, PMel’s only goal is to continually write songs that you can relate to, drink to, and then maybe punch your neighbor to.
Congrats on moving on to the next round...yeah, it's too bad this battle of the bands to more of a popularity contest than a talent contest but at least ya got thru the 1st round...good luck on the 2nd.
