:::::::NEWS : 'How hate is hard to define' is gonna be the title of the follower of 'The vultures' riot' EP. Recording sessions have been done from july 18 to 26 at Las vegas Polo oo Studios. The mix is almost finshed. The mastering will be done overseas by Carl Saff during october 2009. Artwork is being constructed by Romain Barbot. We'll try our fuckin' best to have it at the begining of 2010. And before Christmas for sure, we'll have uploaded songs on our myspace... and pre-orders running by mid-october on basement Apes Ind. for the CD release, Ruin Your Fun/Lacrymal records for the vynil release, and Heckspoilermusic for special german version of this first album. - Enregistrement Studio du 18 au 29 janvier 2010 (70h.) : matériel de studio (table de mixage, micros, enceintes, câblage, ordinateur, logiciel Protools 8), notions théoriques élémentaires (le son, l’acoustique). 8 personnes maximum.
- Perfectionnement à l’Enregistrement Studio du 01 février au 04 mars 2010 (168h.) : prise de son monophonique et stéréophonique, édition sur Protools (montage, nettoyage, arrangement, recalage), mixage (traitement du son, fréquences, dynamique, temporel, effets), automation et équilibre, pré-mastering et composition. En fin de stage mises en situation réelle d’enregistrement et de mixage. 8 personnes maximum.
- M.A.O. (Musique Assistée par Ordinateur) du 08 au 26 mars 2010 (105h.) : compositions autour du logiciel Cubase SL3 / SX3, samples, acquisition audio, boucles, MIDI, instruments VST, sampleur virtuel Halion, musique acousmatique. 4 personnes maximum.

KASSYUS CLAY (WWW.MYSPACE.COM/KASSYUSKLAY) Kassyus Clay are a musical project formed in 2007 in Vicenza, Italy. Their early sound could be considered a combination of energetic rock and sinuous post rock. In six months, after having released an unofficial demo called “Kassyus Clay, We play!!!” - which was recorded and self-produced in a low-fi studio - the band decided to develop their sound adding electronic instruments and broadening their experimental side. Their following songs became more eclectic, more instrumental, more orchestrated and definitely less rock, paying attention on the harmony and the structure of the pieces. Inspired by some groups such as Stereolab, Tortoise, Cinematic Orchestra, Jagga Jazzist, and many other similar bands, Kassyus Clay sound can be described as an evocative, powerful, hypnotic melody, being like “a talking picture without pictures”.
