An amazing singer song writer I discovered from trolling jesse Sykes page. Geri X has the simplicity and authenticity in her songwriting that touches my heart. She is my top friend right now because she deserves to be heard by everyone who comes to this site. I will try to rotate others as I get a chance.. the video is Jesse Sykes #8 album of the year.
I am interested in removing the cynicism and defeatist attitudes I am encountering of people who believe we can not do anything that "they" have all the cards and the game is fixed. Well of course they do and it is.
BUT we are not powerless. Impeachment of this administration would show the country and the world that at LEAST when things are so obviously corrupt and against the ideals that the country was founded on, the people CAN and will force our government to do the right thing. There is a groundswell of support for impeachment and it can happen in spite of the forces and money and resources arrayed against it.

With an election right around the corner, why seek impeachment now? If we allow the President and VP to 'get away with it', we are saying their type of conduct is permissible in future administrations. Any and all crimes committed by the President and VP must be put on the official record to facilitate future law enforcement concerning the crimes (even after they leave office), to remind future Administrations to adhere to the law, and to avert another looming illegal war - this time against Iran.
