Chers métalleux, chers médiévistes, Le FESTIVAL DU MENHIR CHEVELU 3ème édition se déroulera à Brest et à Plougonvelin, le week-end de Pâques pendant trois jours. Le WARM UP où 4 groupes joueront aura lieu au BLACK LABEL CAFE au Port de Commerce de Brest le Vendredi 22 Avril et le FESTIVAL METAL ET MÉDIÉVAL se tiendra dès le lendemain à la Salle Culturelle KERAUDY de la commune de Plougonvelin, déjà connue pour l'accueil de FESTIVALS DE MUSIQUE comme LE FESTIVAL BÊTES DE SCÈNE, L'ATLANTIQUE JAZZ, ENTRE AIDE ET MER, PLACE AUX MÔMES dans le Finistère et dans le pays de l'IROISE. Ce festival se veut MÉDIÉVAL et METAL.Troupes médiévales et danseuses animeront les deux jours, et les artistes issus de divers horizons fouleront cette scène pour réjouir leur public enthousiaste. Le MENHIR CHEVELU est un collectif regroupant des artistes et bénévoles motivés, si vous souhaitez rejoindre l'équipe, soyez les bienvenus! At the dawn of the third edition of the FESTIVAL DU MENHIR CHEVELU, we care again hoping to propose the programming quality which will make our audience pleased. Thanks to the dedication of our members and the cooperation activates of our partners, Naturally, we thank young Breton bands like DUR DABLA, DAWN OF MIGHT, KERIFERN, SOUL DMENTIA, already have realized some shows in Carhaix, Brest which was advantageous to the FESTIVAL THE MENHIR CHEVELU during summer, 2009 and spring, summer 2010 with ARKONA TOUR and AKTARUM TROLLISH TOUR (Brest and Rennes), with the participation of foreign bands: Belgian AKTARUM during the 1st edition, German AHNENGRAB, DARK AGE and Swedish IRRBLOSS during the 2nd edition in this festival. After the Southwest and Normandy in the First Edition, Alsace and Lorraine for the Second, we gradually developp the cultural exchange by inviting a new area of France for this Third edition: the Loire-Atlantique and a progressive opening towards the international with the cooperation of numerous foreign groups. The bands LOUDBLAST, TAAKE, ANIHILATED come to enclose the list. It's awesome the French black metal band OTARGOS come back on our stage this time since the first edition! as RIGER from Germany, CREST OF DARKNESS from Norway and GWYDION from Portugal, DRAUGR from Italia is a very important thing for us: " Our Brittany with all its wealth is made known in the world! ". Précisions sur les choix des groupes: Nous ne nous limitons pas à un seul style. Nous n'avons aucune limitation dans les styles. que nous choisissons de soutenir. Nous nous promenons sur myspace en quête de sensations fortes et nous écoutons les démos ou les albums qu'on nous envoie, nous nous déplaçons en concert et nous en discutons tous ensemble. Nous sommes attentifs aux éléments objectifs: qualité du son, prestations scéniques, état d'esprit. Pour finir, le contact humain est un élément fondamental pour que chaque nouvel élément trouve sa place dans notre festival.
