Well, of course, we can play a wide range of classical, pop, film, jazz and Scottish music - and arrange your favourite music for you as well.
But as well as that, one of our members is also a renowned Scottish fiddler (with 6 CDs in his catalogue); one of our members is also well known as a singer of Burns songs and jazz standards (appearing on over 20 CDs). Both of them can write a new tune especially for you.
We can put together a programme of your favourite classics, a programme of Scottish music - or one that's completely different from anything any other quartet can do.
We have performed at Balbirnie House, the Oran Mor, the Balmoral, the New Lanark Mill Hotel, Cameron House Hotel, the Marriott Hotel (Glasgow), Cornhill House, Hotel du Vin (One Devonshire Gardens), Mar Hall, the Barony Hall, St Athernase Church, the Dalziel Park Hotel, the Western Park Hotel and Glamis Castle.
It is also possible to hire a solo musician (or a duo) depending on the venue, type of event and budget.
That’s what makes us Scotland’s most versatile string quartet!
If you'd like to contact the quartet to discuss availability, pricing or repertoire, please email Sonia at info@pleyelquartet.com
Pleased to meet you and listen to your excellent quartet

The Pleyel Quartet were everything we could ask for and more,
made a wonderful day extra special.
A pleasure to deal with from start to finish,
accommodating our every request
and offering invaluable expert advice.
A professional and highly talented quartet,
whom we would have no hesitation recommending
...we really couldn't praise you guys enough
Andrew and Clare
Thank you so much...
Your arrangement of Murdo was simply beautiful and our hymns were lovely.
We now have the video and I've had a chance to hear you playing in the lounge
which was also fantastic...
Thank you
Lynne and Scott
I booked the Pleyel Quartet
based on a recommendation from my band
and it was the best decision we made.
They are all exceptionally talented musicians,
and I was so moved by the playing
I was nearly in tears before I started going down the aisle!
They had an extensive repertoire
and were happy to accommodate all my requests
while also making suggestions that suited the mood really well.
They accompanied our hymn
and kept all the guests entertained during our drinks reception.
They also arranged and played a piece of music
from Star Wars for our recessional at our request
which was really special for both of us.
I only wish I could have stayed to listen
instead of having to get photos taken!'
