Programmet til Nye rødder 09 er klar. Ambitionsniveauet er højnet men vi forbliver i samme hyggelige lokaler i Magstræde.
Vi glæder os til Howe Gelb og Giant Sand, Tony Scherr, Islandske ólöf Arnalds, og ikke mindst hvad der kan blive den bedste koncert overhovedet i efteråret The Whale watching tour (Sam Amidon, Valgeir Sigurdsson,Ben Frost, Nico Muhly + gæster). Hver især er de 4 verdenskendt for deres arbejde med Antony and the johnsons, Grizzly bear, Bonnie prince billy, Björk og mange flere nu spiller de for første gang sammen på dansk grund.

the answer to mikkel's question on our space: we would love to play in denmark ahaha, but i would love to visit your country as a tourist as well!
We've never played abroad yet, we are currently composing for a next record (that will be a EP, or if we get really lucky, maybe an album) and only after that I think we're in conditions to play in foreign countries! But we would love to.
