Plodocus was born and raised in rural Wiltshire, and studied fine art at university. During this time he made films, soundtracks, and experimental music under the 'Carved Lake' moniker.
Now based in Bristol, he has quickly developed a love of bass, like so many others before him. As a result, his music has evolved into a fusion between the bass heavy rhythms of the city's underground and the mellow soundscapes that he knows and loves.
