Plofmot is an Afrikaans rock band that started back in 2003. The recorded their an EP in the winter of 2003 which sometimes titled "Fout met my", sometimes "Haal eers die piesang uit jou eie hoor" and sometimes just "Home Recordings". About a year later they recorded their first full length album, 'Knus in Herhaling', at trinity Studios. This album was released in 2005.
The band was originally formed by Francois van As (Vocals and bass), André van As (drums), Donnie Louw (Electric Rhythm) and Willem Schonken (Lead guitar and Backing Vocals). Each of the members were one year apart and this proved difficult for the survival of the band. Eventually in mid 2006 the guys decided to stop playing gigs, because it was just too hard to get everyone together to practice and play gigs. With the news of Willem moving to Canada the guys decided to start practicing again and play a few more gigs before Willem's departure.
They also started devising a plan for 2007. Another friend of their's (Quinus Kok) decided to move back to their home town and continue his studies there. At the same time Charl van As (Brother of Francois and André) started to get quite crafty on the bass. So the guys decided to add two new members to the line up once Willem leaves. Francois has already started working on new material for a new album and they are busy planning a music video for "Groepsdruk bestaan nie (Al my vriende sê so)".

Ok so here is the dirt on whats been happening, my best friend Pete has been getting all these girls all of a sudden after he has not had a girl in the past 2 years. I asked him if he is drugging them or something so he told me his little secret. He has been taking these enlargement tabs they made his underdeveloped thing grow almost double the size it was in about 2 months and he says it is still getting larger.%D%A %D%AI thought he was messing around so I sneeked around a little bit and sure enough I found nine bottles of the these pills under his bed and to top that off, his both brothers are now taking them too, Its like the whole family is all popular with all the girls at school now, I don't know, but I am thinking now of buying them for Danny, I know it sounds selfish but after seeing the results, it is hard to ignore what this stuff does.
Ahwe! Dudes dinge lyk goed hierdie kant! Die stad waar ek bly het soos 'n local entertainment channel en ekt al 'n paar oraait bands van hier gehoor.. dink ek gan somma gou gou 'n band kry.. ek sal nou net my standaard moet verdrie vrippel dippel!
