It all started in 1992. Plow United were three boys from a Wilmington, Delaware catholic school who decided to play punk rock. During 1992 and into 1993, they played at farmers markets and pizza places all over the West Chester, PA area. They released their first seven-inch. In 1994, they made more vinyl, purchased their beloved van Sadi, and embarked on their first tour.
In 1995, Plow were forced to change their name to Plow United by some band from Baltimore. They released their first S/T album on Creep Records and tour the United States and Canada, playing with the likes of AT THE DRIVE IN, LAGWAGON, LIFETIME, GOOD RIDDANCE, and more. Soon after they released their second album, GOODNIGHT SELLOUT on CREEP RECORDS.
This influential release which contains all the tracks from their self-titled debut album, is now avialable once again through BLACKOUT/ CREEP. Remixed and remastered, GOODNIGHT SELLOUT will satisfy old fans whose vinyl copies have bitten the dust, as well as new fans of pop-punk who will appreciate the amazing and timeless songwriting.
At the start of 1997, drummer Sean begins to teach high school math and the boys decided to break up while they still loved each other. They played a heartwarming final show in Philadelphia in front of over 400 of their friends that had been there since day one.
In 1998, their final record NARCOLEPSY was released posthumously. While thought of as being fairly “dark” compared to their earlier material, it has earned a place in the hearts and minds of the fans that still in request re-release of this album. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
