Plug n Play finally hits Sydney!!
A night of eye popping and skill swapping fun.
Plug n Play is a monthly AV saloon where VJs, budding VJs and AV artists can get together and visually jam in the relaxed and social atmosphere of Buzz Bar in Newtown.
We provide a 2500Ansi video projector and vision mixer, preview monitor and DVD players.
You can bring your own laptop to VJ, or just your showreel on DVD, portable Hard Drive and mini DV. We are PC and Mac friendly. Don’t forget to bring your cables and adapters. Email us with any tech questions.
We are also keen on any DJ’s who want to come and jam along with live visuals. Please contact us if you are interested in spinning some tunes.

Yeah mate I am interested in Avionica and have passed that on to Bart :) As for PnP, bart and I were going to catch up this weekend I'm taking him to the cafe/bar I'm thinking of in newtown. Will let you know how we go, but I have spoken to the management and they are interested :)

Live visuals, anyone?
In case you or anyone you know might be interested, we've just uploaded the manual from our Painting With Light workshops. Basically it's a 30 page introduction manual to PC-based VJing using Resolume and covers making loops and other basic, introductory VJing issues. You can download it free for personal use.
Also, we've uploaded a few more sets of free VJ Loops. They're all fairly dull, abstract, textural elements to use with other things - but hey, they're free and formatted ready for VJ-use.
