PlungeRocks was formed approximately five years ago. The idea for the band was started by drummer Michael Stoudt. Mike met lead singer Joe Creely though a mutual guitar player associate. The root of PlungeRocks was planted. Through research on the internet, the connection to the next founding member of PlungeRocks was unveiled. Greg was located and quickly connected with the band . PlungeRocks was growing. Six months later (and various guitar and bass players later) Greg reconnected with an awesome bass player that he previously jammed with. Mike Fields was given a tryout with the founding members of PlungeRocks. They clicked and was invited to join the group. The last missing piece needed to be added. The band decided to run an ad in the paper hoping to find that missing piece, the ultimate lead guitar player. Many people responded to the add. Marty was brought in and he had an awesome try out. He is incredible. Marty was that missing piece. In April of 2004 PlungeRocks was a reality. Six months later PlungeRocks hit the club scene in the summer of 2004. PlungeRocks has been making the rounds rocking the Tri-State area ever since.
There's been several changes over the years. Greg has moved on and Mike Fields has joined Side Street. The current line up, as of July 2009, consists of Mike Stoudt, Joe Creely, Marty Kelly, and Steve Rhoades.
