PINK MONKEY FLOWER Is the project of electronic music by the djs Marcos Morcerf and Pejota, both very active on the house music scene of São Paulo PINK MONKEY FLOWER has its music based on the experimental hybridism, which passes through pop, rock, disco, house, breakbeats, techhouse, old and futurist spatial sounds, psychedelic grooves, sound journeys with textures and different fragments, apparently unconnected, which all together constitute a new musical complex. PINK MONKEY FLOWER hasn’t tried to re-render an already settled musical tendency, because it is the Adventure and the act of Exploring different musical landscapes that compose the leit motiv of the project Producing together since the beginning of 2006, the plenty of productivity has already produced good hours of music and delight on doing it, and they are ready to present them on a live PINK MONKEY FLOWER format, which may include the visual performance of the Vjs Mari Rizzo and Bozo, who, after getting to know the PMF’s music and aesthetical references, joined the project, producing a large image research, seeking for an integration of image and sound at an unique performance. The designer Rodrigo "Maltchique" Braga is responsible for the graphic design of the project. The music “Liquid Monkey” has already been released on a Collci cd, an EP for the digital stores is being prepared, as well as a future launching on vinyl. The name PINK MONKEY FLOWER comes from a Californian Flower Remedie advised to introspective people, for making them able to communicate better.
