Bio:

PMG Collective. . . an artistic organisation, surfing the sinewaves of popular culture since 1995. Emerged from the bumpy streets of Skopje (Macedonia) and developed in our comicbook-like brain laboratories. Musicians, djs, teathre and film directors, actors, designers, painters, hackers, loonies, friends. . . PMG KOLEKTIV is our collective band. We love to come together and make music. At first it was remixing other artists and producing some original material in an electronic manner, but very soon it graduated into full scale live outfit. Band's actual form is gained in 2005, and the first concert played by the end of that year. We love playing live, since our material sounds even more adventurous. The spiritual and sonic context of PMG Kolektiv is deeply rooted in the 80s new wave-independent band ethics, enriched by the raw techno-rave dance experience of the 90s, along with a delicate understanding of contemporary music movements and always quite melodic. If you really have to evoke names, you can't escape mentioning New Order/Joy Division, !!! (Chk Chk Chk), Sonic Youth, LCD Soundystem, Psychic TV… Localy, PMG Kolektiv are one of the leading macedonian bands of the new generation, imposing a new musical and social challenges to the audience. Their open dynamism and the tendency to be intellectually stimulative, often leads them to original musical results. Being one of the most active concerting bands in the country speaks of their dedication to improove, as well as their rising popularity. With 4 CD releases, the band is well on their way to become recognized force in the region. At the moment they're working on a new album, which will be released in april 2011.
