Tannahill Weavers in the 80's had the biggest impact on my idea of playing real music on bagpipes.
Altan, Dervish, Flook, Planxty, Horse Lips, and Battlefield are all excellent bands too!

Family immigrated from Glasgow in 1965 to Toronto. Have just recently moved to California 6 years ago and loving it!
Played in a number of top Grade One Canadian Pipe Bands, including Metro Toronto Police pipe band, Toronto & District pipe band, Niagara Police pipe band and currently playing with the LA Scots Grade One band.
I've included a few of my recording on here, wish I could post more, but 6 is all we get for now. Hector The Hero is performed by Metro Police in 1995, that was a great band to be in.
I'll be appearing with the Chieftains this February at the Gallo Center for the Arts. That will be a thrill of a lifetime!

Please come out and help a young 23 yr. old girl (Whitney Webster) who has a brain tumor. She is a very dear friend to many of us, and so is her Mom (Sandi Donnely)! We have known this girl since she was about 8 yrs. old and has grown into a wonderful young woman, loved by many! Her surgery is 3 day's after the benefit! They have to see a surgeon in San Francisco who is one of the top specialist's in the country, and as you all know, that is expensive! They are already thousands of dollars in the hole and the gas is to get there is not cheap either! We are putting on a VERY special show to help raise money for them. There will be great bands and acoustic acts, great food, and all kinds of cool things to purchase or raffle for! It's going to be an amazing night! Let's all pull together to help out a very special person in our lives, and help pay her bills, so she can get better! There is also an account set for donations if you wish to help, but can't make it, just let us know! Thank you all so much for support so far! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Ferris will be jammin' some DAM tunes! This show is going to be very

Press Release: The 23rd annual Sonora Celtic Faire has just added over twenty new Celtic living history groups to their site. The faire has also added over sixty Celtic vendors and artists. Because of so many groups now, the festival will bring in a large tent to house them. Four buildings, six performing stages, a full jousting arena, highland games, twenty music acts, three pipe bands, and three days of Celtic fun this year!
