關於我：
Die p.m.k. (plattform mobile Kulturinitiativen) ist ein aktiver Zusammenschluss von 26 Initiativen, Vereinen, Kollektiven und Einzelkämpfern der freien Szene Innsbrucks. Genremässig ist fast alles vertreten, von sämtlichen Rockuntergenres über Literatur, Breakcore, Elektro-Techno, Hiphop, Theater, Multimediaart, Ambient sowie aber auch Filmabende, Diskussionen politischer wie kulturtheoretischer Art oder andere Aktionen wie Volksküche.
Die p.m.k. beinhaltet einen Veranstaltungsraum für circa 200 Personen und einen Lounge und Barbereich für ungefähr 70 weitere Gäste. Die p.m.k. existiert an diesen Örtlichkeiten seit Juli 2004, gegründet wurde der Zusammenschluss aber bereits 2001 aufgrund akuter Raumnot nach der Schließung des alteingessenen Utopia.
Es gibt in der p.m.k. für Veranstalter eine Art "Live-Pflicht", das soll heissen es gibt immer was spannendes zu sehen, nicht nur Sound aus der Dose oder Plattenvergelege. Daher gibt es auch kein geregeltes Programm à la Donnerstag Hiphop, Freitag Studenten usw. Es passiert halt was, und davon nicht zu wenig.
2006 gab es 270 Veranstaltungen verschiedenster Art. Höhepunkte aufzuzählen würde die Lesbarkeit der Seite sprengen, aber im Musikbereich des Profils gibt es eine halbwegs vollständige Liste aller bisher in der p.m.k. aufgetretenen Acts. Erwähnbare Höhepunkte sind auf jeden Fall das Geburtstagsstrassenfest der pmk im Juli das letztes Jahr von über 1000 Motivierten besucht wurde.
Auch gibt es bei verschiedenen Vereinen immer Jahresschwerpunktsprojekte wie Rap:Politix, OMÜ-Konzerte, das Netlabel aut.ark, So geht Revolution, Amplified Distortions, Vinyl05, Connect, ScrubTV, breakcore, home sweet home. Aktuell 2007 laufen Projekte von NLK-Kultur "MusikMob", Grauzone "Fem:tastique" und das Theater der Agressionen.
