La batalla había sido un éxito, la prueba estába ante mí. Todo el campo sembrado de enemigos muertos, y nuestra bandera ondeando al viento. La sangre parecía teñir el bosque. A mi alrededor todo salpicado de cuerpos desmembrados. Un hedor indescriptible a hierro y mierda impregnaba el entorno. Yo allí, de pie, vencedor, sonriendo y llorando a la vez, cubierto de sangre. Solo yo estaba vivo. Solo yo había ganado la posibilidad de no volver a dormir nunca más sin despertar con un grito desgarrado en el corazón.
