I'm a Gnostic Christian, and that takes up a lot of my time. I've found the mythology works beyond dusty old books. It's been useful in things as far afield as psychology, politics, and economics.
Movies
Blade Runner is my favorite. I wasn't expecting a lot out of Transformers when I went to go see it but it was surprising and moving. It was very Gnostic as well. Ratatouille was just gorgeous. It's all about being beautiful and excellent, and it was a shot in the arm for me as a writer.
Television
This is NorthPark Mall here in Dallas, which I visited 7/7/07. I think it's the most beautiful mall I've ever seen. I took these pictures with my iPhone.
