I'm puttin on a fun event called Unity Unplugged II Sat the 29th from 5:30pm-1:00am at Memories at 1010 Lincoln Way in Marshalltown. It costs $3 and is to raise money and school supplies for 2 schools in Tanzania and Brazil. There's lot of live music by Mali Kan and Tubabu, John Burns, Lady Blue, Strong Like Bear, Ben Wantland, Greg Mack, Jordan Mayland, Bernie King, Jason Sturges, Cynical Minds, Taylor Crowley...Please come and help spread the word. Let me know if ya have any questions. There's also an African drumming workshop that morning from 10-noon at the Pizza Ranch party room for $12.
