Imagine your song already in the rotation on the iPods of all those indie music fans! Have those music lovers take your songs with them wherever they go. Plus, when your song comes on, their iPod will display a link to any website you choose where they can find out more about your band or purchase more music.
PodYourBand was founded by independent artists, and our primary goal is to create a new audience for independent music. And don't worry, our listeners won't just be passively ignoring your music. Buyers of our preloaded iPods will receive a credit toward CDs (or digital album purchases) from two bands out of the ones on their iPod - if they select your band, we'll buy them a copy of your CD! They'll also be selecting their 20 favorite songs from the preloaded catalog on their player. As a PodYourBand artist, you'll know when a listener selects your song as a favorite, and will be able to get in touch with your new fans! Every iPod purchase will directly generate sales of indie music, and increase the fan base of indie artists.
