Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

Yep. Our car wash on the Dixie Highway uses red, white and blue soap. Awesome. Fortunately those colors DO run during the pressurized rinse cycle. Actually, they just sort of fly off in foamy blobs. Effective, though, so stand proud.
