 Jesus changes lives
My mind was full of confusion and I sought relief.
My life was filled with turmoil, my soul was full of grief.
My head had been filled with so many lies, I didn’t know what was truth.
I just wanted this pain to go away, I didn’t feel like I could survive it another day.
I was sick to my stomach when I thought of the life I had led.
I felt so all alone, my eyes had no tears left to shed.
If only I knew of someone I could meet.
All I needed was a little help in getting back on my feet.
I cried out for help and threw my hands in the air.
I wondered if there was help for me anywhere out there...
Then as I walked along the road with my head hanging to the ground,
I saw a piece of paper blowing around.
I picked it up, it was a gospel tract,
The title said, “I can help you win your life back”!
I thought to myself, how, and who could this be,
inside the booklet it said, my name is Jesus, just call upon me.
This person said he was the way, the truth, and the life,
and if I trusted in him He could make things right.
As the tract instructed, I got on my knees,
and cried out to Jesus saying, “will you help me, PLEASE“!
I don’t know you but I am willing to seek you as you say,
and give my life over to you and trust you all the way.
From that day my life changed, my days no longer were gray,
Oh how thankful I am I found my help in JESUS on that fateful day.

My Hero will always be Christ Jesus, the one who gave his life for me...Romans 5:8
I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. Deuteronomy 18:18-19 (Old Testament )
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth...John 1:1,14 (New Testament)

About me: Welcome to the Myspace page of Author Sherri C. Walker. This Wife, Mother and Grandmother is a inspirational writer from Pennsylvania. Sherri first began writing in 2000. She has since written dozens of poems, had her poetry featured in Magazines, and on various poetry sites, written poems for home going services, and had them printed and sold on decorative bookmarks. She has been called upon by Community Leaders, and friends for the use of her poetry and her assistance in putting together newsletters for their Ministries. At her local home church she has served as a Deaconess, Children's Church Teacher for the primary class, and is currently secretary for the American Baptist Women's group.
It's been said that Mrs. Walker's poetry expresses the power of God and the victory of mankind. It exposes the heart of man in his every day trials in this life, and the overcoming, overwhelming, love and power of God expressed toward His children. It has also been said that her poetry captures the essence of Praise for our God who is worthy of the Glory, the honor, the adoration, and the praise that she gives him through the pages of her book. Mrs. Walker writes like a woman who is seeking the face of God and thirsting and hungering for more of Him. Many have often expressed how they have been blessed in the reading of her poems and how they have served as daily devotionals.
Outside of writing poetry and articles about the Lord, she is the Editor in Chief of the Woman2Woman Lounge associated with Moms Working for the Kingdom; an online community of Christian Women which she formed in 2007 in order for moms who are doing things for the Kingdom of God to network. Sherri is also the CEO of Baskets of Sonshine. Her baskets are uniquely designed with the Son of God in mind. Each baskets includes some type of witnessing tool included in order to share the gospel with others.
The passion of the Author is to spread the word of God in all that she writes. Her commitment is based on scriptures Matthew 4:19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men and Mark 16:5 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
All For Jesus is a collection of 30 heartfelt poems sure to uplift your spirit and increase your faith as you are reminded of the goodness of the Great Shepherd and how much he truly loves his sheep.
Sherri is grateful that the Lord allows her to express how she feels about him through her poetry to share his love, encourage, and inspire others. She knows and expresses to all that Jesus is all we need in our lives to live more abundantly. Her prayer is that you will be encouraged, inspired, and that the love and hope of God will fill your heart & spirit by what HE has allowed to pour from her spirit on paper. All mighty woman with a baby on one arm And a sword on the other to keep the family from harm Teaching the little one’s values and morals well Holding up a church while living in hell Singing glorious tunes while being gagged by vicious hands Keeping the family together while being torn up by man Saving victims from fire while choking myself Encouraging females while males try to devalue my worth I hold strength in one hand and point it towards the sky While the other hangs low with sores that run dry Breaking glass ceilings with an all mighty fist While walking over broken glass shoeless Posses a heart of gold that always beats on time While the air in my lungs severely declines Stand tall and proud head and shoulders high Never once through the struggle let them see me cry Because look at me…All Mighty Woman I Am I must lead the less brave to the land of Canaan But on my path of great struggle I met an old woman who spoke Her words were thunderous and my ears were engulfed Her frail body stood firm, she was Queen of her throne She admired my strength but said one thing I should know Through my relentless path she looked deep in my eyes Laid my head on her shoulder and said… It’s okay to cry
