Creativity is important to me. I do a little bit of everything, but don't love any of it enough to commit. I'm a dabbler! I've learned to: oil paint, draw in charcoal, develop and print photographs, play the piano, refinish and reupholster furniture, sew, make soap and candles, salsa dance, write html, collage, decoupage, and a whole host of other shit. Also, I have subsequently forgotten how to do most of those things.
I keep a website with some poetry, fiction, essays, and a blog (I know, pretty gay) at poethelena.com. Yes, I'm a super nerd. My stories are all dark, and the characters are loathsome. I don't write to be good, to impress, or to win. Just to connect.
I really like to smell good. Lotions, perfumes, soaps, and powders make me happy. I'm trying to learn how to cook. You can make anything up to me with cookies.
