Why the name Poetical Serenade?
Poetical means "fancifully depicted, embellished, or idealized". A serenade is a musical performance to a loved one. I thought that this phrase is 1) open to interpretation by the reader and 2) sounded romantic, interesting, and lovely. So why not be serenaded poetically? Or serenade someone else poetically?
Writing is a way to express myself, my thoughts, my feelings, what I see and hear in the world. Learning new forms is a passion of mine, as well as extending myself through writing. It's like a muscle that I need to work out, or the strength is lost quickly.
My adoration for poetry extends from writing it, to reading it, to reading about it, and commenting on it.
