Yo son, how's tricks?

3+ years of using words to enforce a point. 3+ years of stratching my nuts to a beat thinking of lyrics. 3+ years of yawning at the current rap scene. 3+ years of being Poetic Junkie, one EP release, and another on the way. Starting out with The Deep Notes for Poetry In Motion EP, the human dictionary from West London is now, god forbid, starting to organise a live show. It's been long in the organising, but 1 MC and 2 DJ's sounds like fuckin' heaven to a hip-hop head does it not?

The first EP is now on iTunes.

Back on track then. Do you ever listen to the latest rap/hip hop and think 'what the fuck went wrong'? Do you miss the days of being down with OPP and being a microphone fiend? Then Poetic Junkie is for you. No bullshit. Just hip hop that's not some lil runt shouting down a mic boasting about his bling/hoes/dick/rimz. This is fun. For you to nod your head to. For you to nod your fucking noggin' in acknowledgement that you understand what the hell i'm on about. Also to prove you don't have to be short haired, wear burberry, beat the shit out of people different to you and work in a dead end job to be an emcee in the UK.

It's a Rockworld TV gig in assosiation with XFM. and we're playin in a boxing ring. Thats about all we know, but its gonna be an absolute fookin riot..... there's 3 other bands on too. The night is invite only (but it's free) and apparently you need a password to get a ticket. However, we've been asked to invite 150 of our 'crazies' to come cheer us on.....
