About me: My mother calls me Ebony but I would prefer for YOU to call me El. I am a University of Maryland Eastern shore Alumn, class of 2008. I am truly an "interesting" individual. How would I describe myself? I am a plaid suit in the middle of a black tie affair. I will more often than not deviate FAR from the norm. So what makes me stand out in the crowd?. I am always smiling or laughing even when there is nothing funny it relieves my stress and built up frustration. I AM A PROUD NERD. I would much rather pick up a good book than the remote control. I am an aspiring painter that has no idea how to paint or has never really attempted to really paint a picture go figure. I fell in love once upon a time and it left me both excited and petrified about the idea of ever falling in love again. I am a college grad that would love nothing more than to backpack around the world carefree but, alas, the grown up world of responsibility and quiet desperation awaits me. I am quite possibly thee most unorganized person you will ever meet. In the age of cockiness, swagg, and self-proclaimed "jerks" I am trying to learn humility and compassion. Is it working?
