KING PORTER STOMP with TIN ROOTS @ THE BRUNSWICK, SAT DEC 12TH.

We're very happy indeed to have been invited back to play a Christmas show at the Brunswick. We're gonna be joined by our festival friends and wicked roots reggae groovers, Tin Roots, so expect a whole lotta skanking and stomping around with the odd mince pie chucked in.

We'll be fresh from our South West mini tour and it'll be the last chance to catch us play before we go into hibernation to record our new album at the beginning of the new year...we may even give you a sneaky taster of what's in store...it's gonna be fat and funky for sure. We're planning knocking 2009 on the head with a bang so please come down and experience us burning off all the calories we've got and lifting the roof in a proper stomping party stylee.

It's hopefully gonna be rammed so please get your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment, and they're cheaper!

Tickets are £5 in advance from www.brunswickpub.co.uk or click the link above.

Hope to see you all there x

It's the end of our 23 date UK festival tour tommorow and there's nothing better to do in a 500 mile radius than to get down to middle farm to celebrate the apple harvest. Drink vast quantities of local cider, hang out with the farm creatures and listen to the best bands in the south east! It's £7.50 per day and well worth it!

LINE - UP....
SATURDAY 12pm The Magic number... 1pm Boys in the wood... 2pm The Resonators... 3pm Django Spears... 4pm King Porter Stomp...
SUNDAY 12pm Peanut Albinos... 1pm The Curst Sons... 2pm The Anteaters... 3pm Shofar Allstars... 4pm Kalakuta Millionaires...

Here's a promo vid from last year's bash with a rather tasty soundtrack.

Can't believe I'm attempting to communicate with you in this way but I can think of no more reliable method in this crushing hammer, this furry tongue of inconsistent, uncertain email addresses.

A brief message to say: my most humble extensions of greetings to you sir. I do hope you are finding your sojourn in India most agreeable. In expectation of greatly looking forward to the time when we are finally cohabitants of the same city, your great London town.

oh yes.
love to m as well

Hey Sam! How's it going in scouseland. Haven't logged into myspace for ages so didn't see your gig invite- couldn't have made it anyway, don't break up til tomorrow! Can't wait- the kids are BONKERS this time of year and I'm knackered- need to recharge the batteries. You must be near finishing now? Any jobs in the pipeline? I'm moving into my own place in Forest Gate next month- can't wait! It's one of these keyworker schemes to try and get people to buy shares in it- at least I'll finally get my foot on the property ladder. Have a brilliant Christmas mate- enjoy the rest and let me know how you're getting on and if you've got anymore gigs lined up.
Next time you're in London come round my flat for a spliff or two! x
