the sample of the day is going to be the influencing factor. other times it'll be the riff of the day. what ever comes to mind and flows through is going to be the influence. sometimes it may be a picture, a band, a banned, a project, even just a single sound. sometimes a pretty woman or smoking car. artwork often comes to mind just as easily as a cheeseburger; so who knows really, it depends on the day, the time, the place, the book, chapter, the sentence.
