About me:

Although musically easily in the same league as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet and other great U.S. acts, Point Blank didn’t seem to enjoy the same acclaim as these other bands. They were formed in the mid seventies by guitarists Rusty Burns and Kim Davis, vocalist John O’Daniel, drummer Buzzy Gruen and bassist Phillip Petty. Between 1976 and 1981 they released a total of six albums. After reuniting for a benefit concert in 2005 the core of the original band decided there was a true desire to play together again. Since their inception in 1974 their music was meant to be experienced live. Rusty Burns, John O’Daniel, Phillip Petty and friends have RELOADED and are ready to hit a new generation Point Blank.
