Half raucous landslide and half lullaby, pointfive traverses a winding line between whisper and explosion, migraine and lark's call. Blending elements of indie, shoegazer, classical and experimental, they set translucent vocals against frantic drums, warm violin, anfractuous bass and looped, layered guitar to produce a thoroughly distinctive sound. With as many instrumentals as not, their songs disregard the laws of physics as they swell, swirl, explode and induce visions.
Lyrics laced with nonsense and nonchalance, their songs tell tales: of love affairs with mannequins, of a disadvantaged sewer rat’s plight, of slain lions and fantastic failures.

Hey .pointfive fans - Chris and I once had a band called "Ostracise." Our logo was going to be an ostrich in leg warmers. We wrote a song about superman being Sean Connery and nobody wanted him around.

we are always wanting to record, but we'll just have to settle for a video camera recording.....until my brother can record us at my church, if he is alowed. by the way, can i use your loop pedal during a show??

You guys/girls really sound wonderful and we would be more than happy for you to play at the next serendipity cafe. I know that one of your members attended the last meeting so come back and we can work some stuff out.
