"Fürbaß" ist ein fast ausgestorbenes deutsches Wort und bedeutet soviel wie "weiter" oder "vorwärts".

Und eben genau 'fürbaß'' geht es mit der gleichnamigen jungen Band aus dem Südwesten Deutschlands, die hier mit melodischem Pop-Rock im Songwriter-Stil und anspechenden deutschen Texten ein beindruckendes Debut-Album mit dem Titel "Brandneu" vorlegt.

Fürbaß hebt sich ab vom Mainstrem der gegenwärtigen Pop-Nachwuchs-Szene und belegt, dass deutschsprachiger Pop-Rock in der Tradition etwa von Bands wie Silbermond, Juli und Wir Sind Helden durchaus noch neue Facetten aufweisen kann.

'Fürbaß' is a very old and nearly lost word from German language, meaning "forward" or "onward".

And forward is also the direction of the young band Fürbaß from south-western Germany, who releases their strong debut album namend "Brandneu" ("Brand new") in march 2011.

The music by Fürbaß is modernmelodic pop-rock style with singer-songwriter influences and challenging lyrics.

Fürbaß is a highlight of the contemporary German pop newcomer-scene, and their songs reveal that there is still new facettes beside the sound of the already established bands in this genre.

German synth rock band HEAVY-CURRENT presents their long awaited 2009 studio album „Push The Fire“.
