In 2006 The Poison Written set their roots in the Lynchburg, VA area. Since those humble beginnings, they have shared the stage with musical giants including Becoming the Archetype, Once Nothing, Life in Your Way, Oh, Sleeper, Knives Exchanging Hands, A Plea For Purging, With Blood Comes Cleansing, Burden of A Day, In Fear and Faith, The Avenger, and close friends, WrenchInTheworks. In 2007 they released their first EP entitled "No Scheme of Man", that consisted of 5 tracks of early work. In 2008, They recorded another EP entitled "Devices" due to be released in late June. Their blistering live stage performances and unparalleled drive to deliver their music and their message therein drastically defines the group among their peers. With a heartfelt dedication to their Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, the band is compelled to live by Mark 16:15 "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." With that verse as their theme, you can expect to see this band near you in the future.
