While band biographies become quite superfluous with every new "indie" band hitting the "scene", what's important to retain is that wherever they happen to sit on the timeline is a culmination of what they've gone through together. And, what can be more overwhelming is that that particular snapshot can be a direct indication of where the band is going. But, the tell-all sign is how deeply invested everyone becomes with their being in the band. That's why, in early 2008, we're all in Polar Eyes. Because the journey has drawn us in. Even Jason, who has recently joined us as the newest member, is on board because he already has a deep alliance with the project. And, what's even more special is that our emotional involvement tends to resonate in our songs. The translation can be incredibly clear. Some bands are like that. This is a new chapter for Polar Eyes. We believe 2008 will be a special year for us, and we hope that you'll see it through with us.

we know we've been in hibernation, but we've been busy recording our 2nd album! We're still in the pre-production process, but we're quite excited and we're aiming to have it done by Spring 2008. Go to this link for a little taste of some new material:
