that's smart with the mirror. when you say turned down the aperture, do you mean a low f-stop? i didn't know that makes the background dark -- good to know.
so are the lights directly to your side more or less pointed right at your ears?

Wow, I'm incredibly impressed. What did you do for that black background? And how did you keep the lights from spilling onto it? That framing must have taken a lot of guess and check, I would imagine... Excellent work.
