Polarity Sound Space is a small audio workspace located in the South/West Kensington section of Philadelphia, near Fishtown and Northern Liberties. Designed with home recording enthusiasts in mind, the space is contained in a renovated commercial garage and offers a comfortable environment, with pleasing acoustics. Clients have used the space for band practice, theatre sound design, voiceovers, audio book recording, drum tracking, band demos and self-released EPs.

As for the equipment, there's a pa system, studio monitors, ludwig drum kit + hardware, a few mixers, mic stands, cables and also special acoustic panels to help you get the sound you're looking for. Availability is mainly evenings and weekends, but may be rented out for a few days at a time for recording projects. More equipment is on hand when an engineer is hired, but you're welcome to bring your own. Rates are $15/hr or $125/day without engineer.
