    Reminiscent of sounds your spirit knows, Polar Nation will shock you into a rediscovery of what urban is all about. Polar Nation are genre--defying & game--changing. The EP was cut at Hot House in Melbourne, mixed in LA [Beverly Hills] by Chris Arvan, and mastered by guru Ted Jensen (Metallica, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Norah Jones) at Sterling Sound. The three boys are the core of Polar Nation are Aki Redbird, Matthew Charles and Samson. Aki Redbird produced the Polar Nation EP. He's a tribal member of the Cherokee, Lenape Sand HIll Band of Indians New Jersey and Southeastern Cherokee Council Georgia USA and a fixture in the Sydney scene. Aki has been a VJ for Channel V's Soul Kitchen, and founded hip hop group, Little Horse. He has written for the Young Divas, and shared a stage with 1200 Techniques, The Avalanches and Bliss N Eso. Aki has a Native American Music Award on his mantle for production on his father Chief Medicine Crow's album, Homeland Security. Samson is from Sydney's Northern Beaches, and he has been a live mc in Sydney for five years. He's toured Europe with his solo album War Dogs in Germany, Prague and Austria. Samson has been recording and performing with Lil Gzeus, Gabriel Francois, MC Shureshock, Ladie 6, Miss Prinnie, DJ K-note, DJ Callahan, Zenya, Trapaziod, Troops and more. Matthew Charles is the Melbourne boy injecting electronica to Polar Nation, and he has toured his rhymes here and around the world. Matthew Charles is quickly developing a reputation for his MC skills both on the stage, as a host for Oakley, and other major players.
