Polaroids of the Pyramids seeks to explore and embrace the duality of existence. Our music recognizes that for something to be true, its exact opposite must simultaneously be equally true. Inspired by improvisation, our musical ideas are sometimes produced and refined and sometimes presented in their raw spontaneous state. Our sounds may be designed from scratch on modern digital or antique analog equipment as well as sampled from the world we live in and life in general. We also conveniently jam using factory presets on electronic gear overlaying acoustic percussion. We try to leave our egos at the door and enjoy the creative process while listening to the soul of the world. Everything happens for a reason because the happening is the reason.
Hey. Glad you like the tune, hopefully I'll be recording a few of my own tracks in the not so distant future which will be more synth orientated :D And again, your video on your modded synth is great :D
It's a small world but so many friends and fans to say hello to. This is my own small way to say hi & hope you are safe & well in Your own part of it. Apologies if I can't get your language character set to display.
Best wishes, George
Alien Skin 'a kaleidoscope of electronic melancholia'
By the way, I really enjoyed listening to your tracks today. You've left your ego at the door and decided to have some fun. However, your music sounds like you carefully crafted it. Wicked beats and rhythms, with lush electronic soundscapes. It all sounds fabulous to me.
Everything fine with you? Many thanks for the friendship! I really appreciated it. I want to let you know there is a new release "Mindful Innovations - Torn [DJ Solano Remix]".
I hope you come back often, because there is more to come...and don't forget spread the word!
Yo Polaroids of the Pyramidsasaurus. I just found out that we're related...and as a special family only present we've made a new song for you called "End of Days" (start doing backflips now). It's an epic instrumental opus to the moment when our ancient Dino relatives saw a large fiery object plummeting towards them. Please come to our page, give it a listen and let us know if it makes you feel like something catastrophic is gonna happen. If the song upsets you too much we will be holding several s support groups (read: comcerts) in the near future. Check our page for locations, dates and times.
12 tracks including a brandnew song by Ex-Hawkwind singer BRIDGET WISHART and EVERLING. I'm on it, too, with great BIANCA ARISTIA on vocals. The track's called 'Kepler Mission' celebrating the International Year of Astronomy.
